Medical Alerts Provider Personal Response Corporation Rebrands its Service Identity to Elderly Alerts
New Service Name Better Communicates Company's Service Offering.
MIAMI, FL (December 19, 2011) - Personal Response Corporation, America's trusted medical alerts
provider, announces the rebranding of its medical alerts service to Elderly Alerts
. Formerly My EARS™, this pronouncement is made due to "a growing desire to better reflect the company's essence and the extension of what we do: improve the quality of life of seniors with the most technologically advanced medical alert systems in the market," as stated by Barry Shoor, Founder and CEO of Personal Response Corporation.
Personal Response Corporation began as part of a home health service company, Prime Care Health Agency, Inc. which was founded in 1985. In 1990, it began offering Emergency Alert Response Systems (EARS™) to its home care customers after seeing firsthand the value of this life saving equipment. After five concentrated years of service, CEO of Personal Response Corporation, Barry Shoor, decided that the only way to provide the best equipment, monitoring and customer service was to form a separate company dedicated solely to providing EARS™. Today, the mission at Personal Response is focused exclusively on delivering the most affordable and technologically advanced personal medical alarms
available in the United States. Its new service identity, Elderly Alerts, now provides a better and immediate understanding of who they are and what they do, as opposed to My EARS™ which often had them confused with other types of services.
Barry Shoor states, "Our new Elderly Alerts brand is the result of an extensive marketing study that we conducted to further propel Personal Response Corporation into the spotlight as America's trusted and used medical alert systems for the elderly. Furthermore, this announcement also unveils two new types of monitoring systems, long range and cellular, to further show our progress on offering equipment that best fits the needs and lifestyles of our customers."
Along with the service name change, the company is also unveiling its new website for Elderly Alerts at www.elderlyalerts.com
. This new website has a more modern and professional look and feel, is more user-friendly, allows for online ordering of all three medical alert equipment, and is accessible from any computer or mobile device. In addition, the new website will be providing fresh new content via news, articles, and the Elderly Alerts blog where vital topics concerning seniors' daily lives are discussed. Elderly Alerts is also now on Twitter @ElderlyAlert with an impressive 851 followers within only a few short weeks. Elderly Alerts will also soon be on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media portals. The former My EARS™ website and social media profiles will only be available for a short period of time after which they will redirect users to the new Elderly Alerts website.
Emergency situations create fear and stress for both seniors and their families. Fortunately, with this enhancement of Personal Response Corporation - Elderly Alerts - adults who are responsible for the care of elderly family members can now relax and have peace of mind, knowing that their healthcare and emergency needs are completely covered via a timely and reliable medical alert system with state-of-the-art equipment.
